People would answer "iron deficiency" precisely to avoid repeating the same word as in the question (or a derivative). The producer should have told the presenter over his ear-phones that that was an acceptable answer. No wonder contestants get suspicious and come up with panic-stricken (and therefore often) bizarre answers. Shoddy work by the question setters.
