I quite like this programme but a couple of times they haven't managed to sell the repurposed items.

I figure that they must sell them at some point and perhaps at times for a loss but we don't get to see that.

Do they ever show the unsold ones in a later programme?

I don't like the presenter of this programme and most of the 'repurposed' things seem very overpriced at the end of the process.

I just wonder what happens to the things that are unsold at the end of filming. We don't ever find out if they eventually sell or if they make a loss.

I am assuming they make a loss otherwise we would get to hear.

I totally agree, don't know how she gets the prices! I don't know what happens to the stuff she doesn't sell (like you, would love to know) but I have noticed that some of the dealers she sells to still have stuff for sale they bought from her from the LAST series, check out Smithers of Stanford.

I'm not surprised at those prices but does anyone really make any money?
That's apart from the 'upcyclers' she uses. The other day one charged her £1000 to redo a sofa, it probably didn't cost that new.

Having said all that, I do enjoy it, I even have it on series record in case I'm out!!

I noticed the other day that in her barn was a hideous table that was unsold from ages ago.
As a keen recycler/upcycler myself, I am hooked on the programme, but the prices charged are astronomical and the people that buy them must have more money than sense.
Last week she made some cushions from old curtains someone was using to line their car boot. She made them envelope style - the backs were some cheap cotton - and they sold for £35 each.
I make quality, zippered cushions and the most I have ever charged has been £12.
Maybe it is me that is going wrong.....

I have watched this programme a few times, I think they have some good ideas but I do question whether she does actually sell these items at all. The prices are ludicrous. I think its a set up!

Some of the prices are horrendous. I was thinking of getting a couple of old chairs out of the shed and painting them and splashing a bit of colour on them and charging £30 each. But knowing my luck I would end up spending more on the paint than I would get lol

And TBH if you strip an old sofa down to the bare frame and totally reupholster for a princely sum (£1800 in some cases) you might just as well go and get a new one. Sometimes they even have to fix the frame!!!

I wonder what their web sites are. Then I could have a look to see what sort of time they take to sell it all.

Yes Ratter I think that sometimes that's why I looked on the Smithers website as she has allegedly sold quite a few bits to him and they are genuinely there for sale. But who buys them for those extortionate price is anybody's guess!

I also love the show but some things are ridiculous. But I loved that pink sofa yesterday!

Can't stand those arty farty designers with their designer aprons, fancy hats and pink shoes. One of them just paints one leg of a wooden chair and charges a fortune for it.
The husband and wife couple who do the metalwork charge an absolute fortune for knocking up something from some old garage shelving, it's no wonder they can't sell it.
As for all the Camden luvvies that buy this old tat, more money than sense!

I have recently caught a few episodes, I just enjoy watching items getting re used and seeing someones skill & knowledge to transform nearly dumped items.
If everybody used the devine power of recycling, our state of planet would definitely be in far better state!!
But to you all, do remember that these upcycled items are most probably one of a kind!! As we move on in the world, people want different or rare, or the only one of something. So in return they pay silly money for items.
Like paying £999 for the new I phone X (REALLY??!!)there's just no need for that!!

Rant over, love the show though.......
