No.
Very, very sad moment.

This means the Jackpot Joy adverts will be back with a vengeance.
What happened? (he says, feigning interest)

Can't really say right now, in case I spoil it for anyone who has recorded it. (Been there, done that, got the flak.)
Just googled it. Got the picture now.
No, all the hype prior to the programme spoiled it.

What a shame, I saw no hype, so the folks in the last few minutes were a surprise. Clever scripting I thought.
I thought the whole thing was a total anti-climax and a bit of a joke.
I agree normchurch; I thought it was all too rushed - Grant's flying visit wasn't really worth the effort, much as I love him. Why on earth they intertwined it with the toilet debacle going on at Stacey's flat I don't know. Why couldn't they have had an episode with just Peggy, Grant and Phil; that would have had much more pathos for me. Seen headlines in the papers about viewers being "devastated" as last night's episode. I'm more disappointed than devastated. Perhaps they'll redeem themselves with the aftermath as the whole of the Square reels from the shock.
Thought all her wandering around the square smiling was a bit weird, could have been done in half the time. Think they made far more of it than they needed to.
I am not a regular viewer, but am I right in assuming that Grant arrived and departed in the space of about twenty minutes, and didn't appear to have brought any clean clothes or a toothbrush with him?
haven't seen it but sounds like they copied hayley from corrie .

the lady who yells 'ged outta my pub!' yelled it for the last time
and then finally got out of her pub herself ( and down to the cemetery )

and the one line never delivered was:
ged into that coffin !
