I had the programme on in the background, so when he came on it was obvious I would hear him.

What do people see in him, ok he is a good actor but when he is on chat shows or similar, he is stupid, loud mouthed, and thinks everybody enjoys his shouting, spluttering liquid in your face.

iClaudius? Happy to help. :-P
Naomi - ////I am willing to bet that this is simply a created persona that he puts on like a suit when he goes to work. //

Of course it is. He's an actor. //

That's not quite what I meant.

All actors can 'be' other people, that's the definition of what they do. But the vast majority are themselves off camera.

My point is that Brian Blessed 'acts' an off-screen persona as well - the bombastic shouty man we all know so well. But I believe that in private, with his family and friends, he is someone else again, quiet and not at all 'on' because no-one could bear that 24/7 - probably including him!
That's what I said ... at least I thought I did.

You are making unfounded assumptions about the circumstances of Brian Blessed's public and private home life.
like him or not at 80 years young he is a remarkable person !
Talbot - //You are making unfounded assumptions about the circumstances of Brian Blessed's public and private home life. //

Acknowledged - but I am not suggesting anything other - and your point is?
My point is you have double standards.
If you watched his 'who do you think you are' episode or anything where hes talking about a serious subject then you'd see a different side to him. Being shouty is his gimmick and what gives him a lot of his TV work.

So now when someone disagrees with you or pulls you up on your blatant double standards they are looking for a spat... lol.

If I were looking for a spat it would take another posters help to achieve that aim.
-- answer removed --
And he is back determined not to have a spat.

Sounds like you are issuing another veiled threat, andy.

That is of course you perogative but I will make my point clear regardless.

Where has mikey said he was invited into their home?

You are making unfounded assumptions about the circumstances of this interface.

--------------
Why (only yesterday) tell me I am making 'unfounded assumptions' (it turns out I wasn't) then the next day make ' unfounded assumptions' about Brian Blessed and not expect to get challenged on it?

Double standards I would say.

Bloody hell !...what happened ?
Intriguing but I don't like to ignore questions, mikey. All I can say is I have no idea why answers have been removed, non of them were in the least bit offensive.

The only thing I can think of is when andy-hughes tells you that you are making 'unfounded assumptions' accept it and move on.

But when andy-hughes is making unfounded assumptions (and acknowledges you have a point) accept it and move on.

## Bloody hell !...what happened ? ##

You swore Mikey! :-)
trt....I think we can use bloody now ! I used ruddy in its place for ages, but its not as good as bloody.

Bertie Wooster used "bally" a lot, because Wodehouse's publisher wouldn't allow anything more colourful !
