It's off for a few months. Football, tennis, Olympics etc.
"Each summer Doctors takes a break for Wimbledon. This year, so we can also bring viewers coverage of Euro 2016 and the Olympics whilst minimising further disruption to Doctors, the break will be longer than normal.
We look forward to Doctors returning to the BBC One schedule in September."

i sat down to watch it yesterday netty and i thought - have i missed it? went forward on the tv guide for the rest of the week and saw it wasn't even listed! As mentioned below it usually goes off air during the school holidays but they're not here yet so my bewilderment has ended.

Thank you all! I've only just got into it!
I dare say others will be moaning about the lack of their favourite soaps etc over the next several weeks!
My favourite soap. I love Al.

Oh day time telly?
Are you UB40 or retired?

Nothing wrong with Day Time TV, well not that much, when you don't work it's can be a life saver at times, all that useful information all for the price of a Licence as well.

I retired early at 43 years of age!
Lucky you Netibiza!!!!
Retired and in poor health.
TV and radio are life savers for people like me who spend long hours at home
If you're on Facebook neti, there is a Doctors, page. "Like" it and have a look at all the grumbles about it being taken off for three months.
I get fed up of Countdown going off so often for racing.
Ive watched doctors right from the start and absolutely love it. I like all the characters that have appeared on it and loved Mac & Julia too. I enjoy the storylines but watch it on catch up tv

if 'they' can show the likes of Emmerdale/EE/Corrie at different times to accommodate footie, don't see why 'they' couldn't put Doctors on earlier in the day
