Tikka Massalla is more popular with British people it is not really a 'proper curry' it was designed for British palettes ,Indians and Pakistanis will not eat it as they say it is too bland. I suspect more curry gets eaten in the UK by people from India and Pakistan than gets eaten by 'white British'.

Anyway I thought all the dishes at the restaurants here were modified or created for the British market anyway. Didn't seem to be anything like the dishes served at the Indian wedding I went to, many years ago.

trt The question is what is the UK favorite curry? It did not specify take away curry or home made curry or restaurant curry just 'curry'. So out of all that chicken jalfrzi is the most popular. Tikka Massalla is not really a curry at all,
as I said, it is a recipe that was specifically created to suit British people who do not like curry.
