Anybody know why all the ITV channels were switched off for an hour, this morning?

Did they Really think, this would encourage people to go out and take part?

I didn't notice. But there was some kind of warning of pulling the daft stunt a while ago now.

I think it is because folk who are hard of thinking sometimes have the social skills to get into high office where they can inflict their harebrained schemes.

(Probably also accounts for the continuous infuriating "Yes I can..." turn the channel over ? hit the mute button ? swear at the screen ? torment they kept inflicting earlier.)
