I don't watch 'Bake Off'. (Indeed, I watch very little telly at all, much preferring to listen to the radio). However I can still thoroughly agree with your description of Sue Perkins as 'intensely irritating'!

Why do Paul and Mary come into the tent when every challenge is read out by Mel or Sue but they don't actually say a word?
