No University Challenge Or Only Connect

While I appreciate there are a lot of people who like Autumn Watch, why should they take preference over those of us who like to watch University Challenge & Only Connect.. I know these programmes will be back, but that doesn't help that we have been overlooked.

Presumably autumn can't be put on hold. I would never watch it, and much prefer quizzes, but UC and OC will be back for weeks to come, while autumn will soon be winter ... :-)

I like those incomprehensible maths equations on UC.
The answer is always 1 or minus 1, and I usually get them right.

we had ternary number 222 - answer 26

and relativistic mass ( summing goes at root three over two times the speed of light, what's its rest mass ? - square the thing above ( three quarters ) take that from one ( one quarter ) take the square root ( one half )
and that is the answer ...

Apparently Mikey, but I wouldn't change it. In fact,...here's a little tip,...cut a piece of that non-slip stuff on a roll which is always available in Pound shops, to put underneath the plate!! Stop irritating and often catastrophic plate slippage :)

Paxo is not known for his maths skills. I remember a time when someone correctly answered "unity" and he said "No, the answer is 1". The team looked incredulously at each other. Surely someone should have had a word in his ear.
