Nope, I find these weep-fests indulgent and mawkish, and they make me uncomfortable. Plus, I have a golden rule, in the interests of preserving my expensive TV, I don;t watch anything with Carol Vorderman in it!

I too tend to avoid these like the plague as I embarrass very easily - but like libertie I found it extremely humbling and in awe of the human spirit - especially the children's stories of outstanding courage and bravery.

The only thing that spoilt it was the foul mouthed Geldorf...
