Just watching this programme. Isn't it time Noel Fitzpatrick had a knighthood.
He is the nicest, kindest, caring person on tv.

Tonight's episode had me in tears...that poor golden retriever pup!. Amazing what that man does.

The love the Swiss man showed for his dog had me in tears too.

There's sometimes people that not only do their job brilliantly well - they show immense care and compassion too.


Would that they could all be lauded but sadly that won't happen.

Thank heavens there are people like them though.

I know people who have used Noel and they say he is as nice in 'real life' as he is on the TV.

We're getting earlier episodes here in Ozland ....he seems the most compassionate man who really loves the animals he works with.

So many people, both vets and owners, would have thought Murphy the Goldie to be beyond help. A truly inspirational story.
I agree that Noel should be recognised - he probably wouldn't.

Murphy was truly adorable, so pleased he was ok. Noel is not only a lovely man, but astonishing in his sheer genius, the way he works with engineers to devise all those parts he needs to make new body parts.

I've not watched the others because I'd compare to my favourite - Dr Chris Bondi Vet. He and the team are just so brilliant and caring

I agree he's an amazingly talented vet. But I couldn't help wondering who pays what must be eye-watering costs for the complicated treatments. Do Channel 4 cover the costs of all operations/treatments featured in the programme? The treatment for the retriever puppy must have run to thousands of pounds.
