According to the Beeb its 'Daughter' by Youth but, having played it on YouTube, that's not right.

Hi Guys,
I've just YouTubed both songs - is that an acceptable verb these days? Having listened to Una Palliser I'm fairly certain that its song called 'Mo Ghile Mear' ...but I could be wrong - I'll need to listen to the credits again to be certain but as its a Gaelic (sounding) song it seems right for the programme.

So thank you Emeritus for putting me on the right track...and in answer to your question, elliemay1, I didn't really enjoy last night's episode...but I was fascinated but the music.

Was not impressed with this programme last week but thought I'd persevere last night, after 30 minutes changed channel .

I watched episode 1. That's 60 minutes of my life I won't get back.

I wasn't impressed either but I do like the scenery. It's very slow-moving.

We watched the first episode, very slow we thought also, gave it a miss last night.

I watch it because it was written by Barry Devlin who was in Horslips. He is a brother of Marie Heaney, the widow of the poet Seamus Heaney.

It was filmed a few miles from us, I have it recorded to watch but everyone I talk to says it's rubbish! Might just flick through it to spot places I know!
