It is common knowledge that Sunday's show is recorded on the Saturday night, the audience are even sitting in the same places. So considering costume changes for the professionals, extra dancing, set changes etc, how long does the audience have to stay in the studio on the Saturday? That is presuming Saturday night's show is live... Is it ??

Get them validated at 1300.

Return at 1530 to queue to get in.

Take your seats at 1630.

Stay until 2230.

Don't they have some kind of time delay in case of emergencies for live programmes? Not sure for definite though and not very long I don't think.

Hasn't stopped them from having to apologise for Bruno a few times when he has got overexcited though!

As a Strictly fan, I'd be happy to be there as long as it took if I could get tickets to be there.

I've only been in the studio audience watching a game show being filmed (Take Me Out, a friend got tickets). It was quite a few hours though there was entertainment inbetween the main bits being filmed and retakes to keep the audience engaged.

Chris, there is a break after the live show, where the audience can go to the loo and have their BBC provided refreshments (a carton of orange juice and a kit-kat according to my friend who went the other week). They then go back in for the results show, and the front row of the non-celebrity audience is shuffled around to pretend it's recorded on a different day.

My sons friend went to the X factor last w/e at Wembley arena, and had to wait over 4 hours in a queue outside, even though they had ballot tickets.
