Anyone else here in Scotland watching this? (I'm sure it won't be shown down south!). It's a brilliant dramatisation of the Peter Manuel story. Martin Compston is excellent as the villain of the piece.

I'm in the West Midlands and I'm watching it - it's broadcast throughout the UK

I caught this by accident, Aberdeen (Northants).......and so glad I did......brilliant and gripping.......Martin Compston is, as you say, excellent and scary.........x
I watched the first episode because Compston is in it - he is fab in Line of Duty
What I find strange is that although Martin Compston was brought up in Greenock, there is something oddly unconvincing about his Glasgow (well, nearby) accent. Maybe he, like me, hasn't lived there for some time.

i am so pleased to hear that the rest of the UK are seeing this. So often we have great series then we find out that it's only shown in Scotland.
This is your Lancashire judge , yes we are liking it too.
Very good. We are really enjoying it although a bit unsettling at times! Brilliant acting too. I've always Martin Compston as an actor. Intriguing stuff.

We get Still Game and Two Doors Down, too. No subtitles, either!
Did Para Handy get as far as England?

Ah, The Vital Spark! I remember it well

I have The Vital Spark and every episode of Para Handy on DVD. Great stuff, originally shown in England on the Beeb
hc, you'll be getting me all nostalgic for programmes from my past: Doctor Finlay's Casebook, This Man Craig....

Totally agree, Divebuddy. He's trying too hard, and not helped by the dodgy accent I mentioned above.
I'm right down on the south coast of England and watching it.
I was a child in Scotland at the time of the murders and vaguely remember his name being mentioned by grownups.
Excellent programme.
My husband , lived near where this happened , he was just a child at the time , but he remembers the family talking about it and how frightened people were.
