Is there anyone else who finds the program totally over the top and embarrassing? Its makes me cringe when they are interviewing these sports stars with stupid questions. You can tell most of them would rather be at home. It wasn't so bad when they were just in a television studio with a few attending but now it's just so big out of all proportion to what it's...
What is considered an acceptable "personality" for a World No. 1 sportsman/woman? Why do so many deliberately misunderstand the word? The Beeb should call it Person of the Year to keep the whingers happy.
anne, I was thinking he could hit little teddy bears into the crowd, or do party tricks with bananas before he eats them. Just playing good tennis doesn't cut it, obviously.
When is the BBC gonna catch its self on .is it trying to keep the unemployment figures low by having 2600 working on this black slapping waste of time .
I thoroughly enjoyed the programme and was very pleased to see lots of very talented sportspeople gathered there for the show.
I voted, too, but my choice finished well down the list.
Congratulations to Andy Murray.
A great champion and a deserving winner!
Other than my vote going to Alistair Brownlee, who earned it, my contender, but who was not nominated would have been Jamie Murray, who both won Wimbledon and became World Number One before his little brother.
