Well I watched it to get my daily dose of laughter and joy. (Sarcasm!!) Good god why is it sooooo depressing?? It used to have funny moments but struggling to remember last one.

I had watched every episode right from the very first in 1985 until early this year. I decided enough was enough and I just couldn't stand the misery or stupid unbelievable storylines any longer. I've not missed it.

I watched it when it started, back in 1985. I haven't seen a whole episode since Michelle was about to marry Lofty. Yes, there were funny moments. I can't bear it now.

The present Mrs Hughes watches it, and occasionally I sit in and view, but I remain utterly amazed that such a large bunch of deeply unpleasant people can populate such a small area, and no-one seems to feel the need to move out and mix with normal human beings.
