Bt Problems Again
5 Answers
BT box broken. Came on Answerbank and got a link to their web chat.
Spent ages giving all the details, and finally promised a new box in five working days.
Time passed, no box. Went on to their web chat again, filled in all the details agin, (they had no record of my previous request despite me giving them the name of the person I spoke to). This time got a reference number. Promised new box. Time passed, no box.
Any thoughts, before I cut my throat?

Why not ring them, 0800 800 150, wait till late afternoon when you should get the UK call centre, explain what has happened. My friend did this when hers broke, got it two days later. She got nowhere using their online service. I have never had problems with BT, I know people who have had problems with sky and virgin.

Why do you have to stay with them for your landline, Sky and Virgin do them with their packages too. I changed to BT from Sky last year as I was getting problems with them like broadband hardly working and when it was it was very slow. So far no problems with BT but it's early days yet. If you are out of contract with them telling them you will go with another company often works.
