Watched this programme for the first time yesterday and enjoyed it but.......during the closing scene he answered the phone, listened then threw the phone across the room - I couldn't hear what was said to him to cause this reaction.
Can anyone tell me please?

I think it was the daughter of DCI Thursday who left home at the end of the series prior to this.

How come you've missed the series' before, rsvp? They are classics like, Morse.

Thank you chrissa1 - don't watch too much detective stuff but this just seemed a good one - it was only after I'd seen my first one that I twigged it was a 'young Morse' - never watched the first lot as I was overseas when it was on UK tv.
Am seriously deaf and the telephone call was quite quiet so I missed it so am very grateful for the explanation - thank you so much and stay well
