I don't agree OG. Lena was great in 2010 with Satellite, as was Conchita in 2014.
I also like a couple of the Swedish ones. Euphoria and Heroes spring to mind

Eurovision isn't so much about songs, but is now just an international popularity contest with some audio "entertainment" thrown in. good to see that the BBC are affording it the importance it deserves though, by employing some total no-hopers to be its contenders - rather like Father Ted's "my lovely horse".....
Last year's winner was about as 'unbland' as you can get.
