Emmerdale Tonight!!

Anyone else think Emmerdale is getting really really silly? Absolutely stupid unbelievable storylines tonight ......I despair!!

Yes the story moved far too fast and was ridiculous. I knew they were changing Sarah to another actress - not sure why.

It was totally stupid, then to top it off the adults all left the little boy asleep in the car!! They just rescued him from kidnappers and didn't bother bringing him indoors. Considering this was the house the kidnappers came to, it didn't seem the most sensible action to me!! I do know it's not real but come on...

After watching 'Emmerdale Farm' for years and being members of the Emmerdale Club, we stopped following this soap when the Dingle family came into it. It then changed from a believable farming story (husband grew up on a farm) into a third-rate attempt at comedy.

Agree that it's totally farcical now. As if any Bank Manger would give out that sum of money so readily. Also wondered at them leaving Jack in the car. Maybe when they go out for him he'll have disappeared!

One other thing about tonight's episode: how come Cain is back driving the BMW (reg. CD10 CAR, I think) - wasn't it driven off a cliff into a water-filled quarry not that long ago?!

Well goodgoalie, he could have bought a similar car as a replacement. As far as the number plate goes, even after the first car was written off, he still owned the right to the registration - it was very likely a cherished number plate with a reg like that - and could have transferred it to any vehicle of his choosing.

loved it, like a carry on film in parts and a brian reece farce in another,charity has always been my favourite in emmerdale, great timing, if you want a ridiculous story line look no further than " kerrys"

Would be Ok if it was a Sitcom, but it isn't.Needs some new scriptwriters.

The only storyline that's any good at the moment is Ashley.
I'm finding that really sad but very well done.
