What a great programme tonight. Love all the info about birds and the beautiful photos of the sunrises. Pity about Chris Packham though - the most irritating presenter on the planet!! Anyone agree?

Not watching Winterwatch...but have never thought C.P. to be irritating in the slightest.

I find him very patronising Ging - he also tries to talk over Michaela when she's explaining something.

CP is a bit irritating, but Bill Oddie is even more so.

O no Melv - Bill Oddie was great and SO knowledgable. It was really sad and cruel the way he was sidelined - it certainly made him ill.

Actually Ann, I think it was the other way round - he was ill (depression), making him unable to continue.

Chris Packham was a guest a while back on Countdown he was very informative and interesting but then it was in small doses agree there are far more irritating presenters, hosts etc than him Mel Geidroyc comes to mind along with Davina Mc Call, Hazel Irvine.

I don't mind CP in small doses, but I haven't watched the programme this time round. Is Martin Hugh-Games back? He very watchable don't you agree?!

I quite like CP,at least he appears to have a sense of humour,and sparks off of his two co~presenters.

Chris Packham is lovely......a relative has dealings with him through work and he's a joy and so interested in other folk..... generous with his time and knowledge too.........
I love his passion....and enthusiasm.....I also like that he's a bit OCD....that appeals to me....

Hoppy's right about Bill Oddie.....his illness, I'm told, made him difficult to work with.....I wouldn't know but I do know I couldn't watch anything he presented....

Have recorded but not yet watched Winterwatch.....but glad to hear Martin is still presenting......now he is a dish.....enthusiastic, clever and passionate.... and a dish....what more could I want......♥

Well....I like CP.....and I really dislike Andrew Gilruth.....really dislike him... any numpty who tells me that shooting helps save wildlife and to stop...grousing about the glorious 12th is ....... hmmm....I don't like sweary words so I'll just think it......

Read somewhere that Chris Packham gave an interview in which he said he has asperger's syndrome. This would explain some of his difficulties and I think he's doing a great job.

who in my opinion ties with Matt Baker as the worst Presenter going.
