I watch Homeland too, but I'm 2 episodes behind, but recorded on my Tevo box.

It was mentioned, yes, as Sipowicz says.

I think it's more likely that the US is not airing the program and therefore C4 can't, so they're showing the X-Men premiere instead, rather than they've put off Homeland so they can show X-Men.
