Tv Series - Thriller Set In Uk

Hi, I remember watching a series I think based in UK. It consists of a special group of people I remember they set up a car accident so they could get to know someone better and then infiltrate their house. It involved a woman becoming like a nanny to a small boy. The house is highly guarded and the woman places bugs in the father's office in the house. I have some memory of them poisoning her or drugging her. Later when he is out being a gangster the car car explodes with a bomb.....Any ideas

they did fake a car accident/kidnapping in that and the title character used that to get close to the family
