animated fables @ eighties...can you help?
The intro music used to go, 'I'm a story teller, and my stories must be told - I have many stories, ..............and days of old, I have many stories and I've seen many faces, many friends have I, in many places - in Germany I'm Johan, In Sweden I am Jan...' and so it went on. Each week, this John/Jan/Johan cartoon character, narrated a tale. Does anybody remember what it was called and where I can find info about it? Thanks in advance

"Storybook International" was produced by HTV (I presume with some european partnership) and shown in 1983-4, with some of the stories narrated by Isla Blair.
Apparently DVDs are set to be released in January 2006 - link.
