Why are some contestant lambasted when they choose to take the lower offer, after all when there is only three contestants and one is the last to face the chaser, surely it is better to take the minus offer, at least it will put the team one more ahead of the chaser and there is more chance of three winning than two?

I think it,s quite well thought out sometimes, it,s better to get back and all have a chance of getting something than going home with nothing, sometime the rest of the team advise them to take the lower offer.
