Feeling very flat. It seemed to run out of steam. I wasn't even sure who the rapist was as we haven't seen much of him at all.

I found it very powerful and the way it affected Miller was palpable, well handled and drawn together for me.
All the ends were nicely tied up - we even know who gave Miller's son the porn video
The daily mirror ran a piece on the 12 possible rapists and even they got it wrong!!!!
I really thought it may be Trish's hubby.
I agree about feeling flat. The series had dragged on taking us via every possible red herring to the point where only minor characters could be left as the actual culprits. I'm pleased its over, and as for the whole cast going to church for some sort of peace finale ............ pa-lease!
Hmmmm...didn't like the church service ending.... And yes.....felt a bit flat at the end.....I wanted to be shocked or at least surprised...but ended up thinking....oh well.......x
I would have liked a surprise ending .
Shows how we all view things differently , I found it shocking to see one so young basically lost to decent humanity - chilling really.

I think the Church scenes were somewhat symbolic as well as being a farewell to the Vicar.

It wouldn't do for us all to agree I suppose.
Well the moral I suppose is some people are very evil.
I thought it was superb, I hadn't guessed the identity of the rapist (well not correctly) & was indeed surprised.

The actor's portrayal of the sociopathic nature of his character was fantastic - "I didn't ask her name. Was that rude?" - chilling indeed.

I thought it was very well done. They couldn't leave us with a shock ending as this is the very last, story.

It had to be tied up and I thought they did it, brilliantly.
Luckily after reading this, I still haven't worked out who the rapist is .....we've yet to see the final episode here (next Friday night ) but with so many red herrings, I probably won't know even then !

Great series though
You shouldn't be reading this, seekeerz! :)
Chrissa ... I know ! Couldn't resist, and luckily still none the wiser, really :))
Good. ;)
It was all very clearly explained ,and hints were left right through the series! The performances from all the cast have been superb, and it was a fitting final telling, after the awful 2nd series that just annoyed people and didnt live up to the quality of the original.
I like that to happen, tying up all the loose ends and explaining the motives behind it rather than leaving us hanging and wondering why.

I agree, a superb series with an excellent cast .....Trish was great and I love Sarah Parrish.
I suspected who the rapist might have beena couple of weeks ago, or at least suspected he may have been involved but didn't for a second think he would have been forced- that was a shock
just watched it...thought it might have been the psycho but not the other lad..well done I thought
Unfortunately like a lot of series I have watched recently I enjoyed the first and last episode and everything in between was a bore!
I loved the ending it tied up everything as thankfully there are not going to be anymore series.
I enjoyed it, but I dont know anything about the rapist. Only his name.
