  Could you tell me which town or city Brum is filmed?. Been watching it with the kids and do not recognise the area.

My husband passed the filming one day in Birmingham at erdington , my son was gutted at the time as he was really in to brum!!!

..my mate's uncle made the acctual Brum (the lil car not the filming of it)...he also made the red telephone in the insurance ad...and he was also on the first series of robot wars, his robot was the first one to have a flippy over/self righting mechanism... just thought I'd share that info with you all...

Ah no Brum is not filmed in Birmingham.Its filmed in a place called Boughton-on-the-Water. Have been there a few times and have a good mate who lives there so i am confident on this! Not 100% sure about spelling though. Has a nice bird sanctuary by the way!

Sorry greeno, you are wrong. The opening and closing credits, where he goes into an old fashioned garage are Bourton on the Water in the Cotswolds.

But all the adventures that he has are filmed in Birmingham. I recognise some of the places such as Cannon Hill Park and Centenery Square.

my hubby has friends from Birmingham and they always refer to Birmingham as `Brum` not just because of the t.v. programme either.He says its an old nickname for Birmingham.

Whilst Broughton-On-The-Water is certainly the place where the museum is, which is home to Brum, his adventures are obviously filmed in either a large town or city. Broughton-On-The-Water is a village, so this is unlikely.
