Is It Noel Fitzpatrick The Supervet?

I am watching right now Heartbeat ITV3, as the story goes they have a new vet in Aidensfied and I think its Noel Fitzpatrick playing the role or am I mistaken, looks like him to me ?

In an episode from 2000, Weight of Evidence he played Gabriel, and in 2002, he played Andrew Lawrence in the episode Dirty Den.

He was also in a programme as a vet and there were complaints that an actor was pretending to be a vet! He says he wasn't a very good actor.

Thanks so much for posting this De Sa, as its confirmed to me, since the middle of the first series, that he was a bit part actor, but an excellent surgeon/vet.

Although showing to be a very caring, sympathetic man, to the pets owners, with words of, 'I will try my best to save him/her', and 'its going to be touch and go' giving a hug, or a kiss on the cheek, on camera, I was not fooled.

I supposed I will get my head torn off by some of the pet lovers, but I am one myself.

As far as I'm concerned his compassion is genuine and he is a true pet lover and that is a view I will never change.
