woofgang, Philip is in hospital
Camila is a good egg . do you know her MM ?
I don't think the Queen would visit him but am sure she is kept constantly updated.
I agree with emmie at 11:42. Hope Philip is ok, he seemed fine yesterday.
As I said before the new manifesto is a lot closer to a Labour one than it is to the original!
Corbyn will be amused !
aye, the foxes will be dancing in the streets tonight
We all make judgements by what we read in the papers and see on our TVs and I think she comes over as a real good egg as they say. Always ready for a laugh and the princes seem very fond of her. I don't think we need to know her personally to form an opinion. I like her, she's much better suited to Charles than Diana was.
Of course she is lb, but he married Diana, who loved him, and look what happened there.
LB, I've read on here and elsewhere that some folk think Di was a brood mare to provide an heir and a spare.
Genes, family history etc etc
I don't think there was any real love between those 2 imo
I don't agree albs, I think Di truly loved him when she married him and I agree about the 'brood mare'.
I agree Alba, the Queen Mother and a relative of Diana I think (a woman) are said to have planned it. Don't think he had much choice but to go along with it as he would have been under great pressure. Imagine being forced to marry someone you didn't want to out of duty.
agree Jam, I think I should have said HE didn't really love her.
Imagine Di having someone marry her 'out of duty'! That's where all my sympathies lie.
I recall very vividly when Charles and Di were standing on the balcony after they were married - I lipread the Queen saying "you may kiss her now".
True albs x
I'm sorry to say I really don't like Chuck at all. He might be a nice man, but...
Can't put my finger on it, but I really don't like him.
