I was infuriated to get the results and winner when I checked Google late afternoon for the nights Order ofvPlay - as it was from Oz we get delayed action, why can't Google withhold the result till after we've seen it?

Because it's always five o'clock somewhere.

A global website can't release sports results piecemeal into every time zone on the planet, they'd never get anything else done!

As the phrase says, if you don't want to know the result - look away now, or, in this case, keep away from anything that says 'Darts' on Google!
