Did any of you who weren't watching 'The Proms' catch this comedy drama tucked away on BBC2 about an autistic boy. I found it very moving.
Watch it on catch-up if you've never seen it before. You may need a box of hankies!

anything where I'm told I might cry will not be watched by me. I like to be entertained not depressed.
I'm watching it now.
I haven't yet watched it but I should imagine it's inspirational rather than depressing.
NJ - people cry happy tears too!
Report back please Ummmm.
Will do...
"Tears of happiness (or joy)" is misconceived IMHO.

People who shed tears because they are allegedly happy are probably doing so because of relief (which is entirely different to joy or happiness).
People show emotion in many ways, wouldn't do for everyone to be the same.

Things that move me are more often based on the beauty that nature has to offer or triumph against the odds, that type of thing.
Mamy...it's well worth a watch. It's not sad all the way through but had a bitter sweet ending. I cried..
