Problems With Ab

On view all categories I can no longer get the multiple options.
Nothing comes up but the existing title.
Also still cannot get links to next post at the end of the page of postings.
Really annoying having to scroll back up to the top to get to next post..

I've never used those next/previous posts links. (Indeed, I find them slightly irritating).

However I've just emailed the Ed about your problems using AB on an iPad. (At least I assume that you're using an iPad, 'cos that's what I've just told the Ed!)

Try a different browser.

I heartily recommend Brave, it's brilliant for AB on my android phone.

Chris, if you don't use the 'Next' and 'Previous' links, how do you navigate to the next or previous page?!

I have a category page, such as 'Chatterbank' or 'Technology', open and then RIGHT-click on any interesting post, selecting 'Open Link in New Tab'. When I've finished reading/answering a post I simply close the tab and look again at the list of threads (pressing F5 to refresh the page if necessary), so that I can then right-click on something else that looks interesting.

'Problems etc...' and then click on the 'Media & TV' link.

I never use the next post links either

I rarely use next links either. Been known to do so in "Jokes" occasionally. Tend to open a thread, then either come back out to the home screen to select another, or hit the 'back' button, or choose from the 'Latest Posts' The next links work on my android tablet so must be browser or computer related somehow.

As for multiple options, I'm uncertain what the described issue is. It's a pain that the whole list doesn't come up any more, but an individual category will expand if the + is touched. You just have to keep guessing which category might hold the forum you're looking for. Will probably pick the right one after ten or twelve goes.

Hi- just a thought: have you done a complete refresh, Caran, of your browser by completely clearing the cache (use Tools, clear browsing data) as your ipad may still be trying to load some of the old format- I know a few users had this and that was Buenchico's solution a few months ago.
AB is okay on my ipad but there is one particular site that will not view properly on my ipad whatever browser I try so there is some issue with ipads generally i think

Your Answer...In the meantime, regarding View All categories, have you trie dclicking on the 3 horizontal bars rather than on the words View All Categories? I assume the sections come up but ou then get no + sign /can't drill down further. As a workaround you can just click on the main Category (eg Jobs&Education) and you will get a little note from Ab Editor in red which suggests clickable sub categories. Not ideal but it works
