Mobile Phone; Vodafone Smart Prime 7
4 Answers
Has anyone any idea where Vodafone Smart Prime 7 is made? Is it a clone of another make or is it on its own. Also, for £75 is it worth the money and is it suitable for a young student to use, that is, before it is either broken by them, lost or stolen.

I have read reviews that say it is very good value for money. Don't know who makes it. Don't know if it would be considered cool by a teenager but it looks like a good buy. My wife and I have Huawei P8 Lites as back up phones.
The manufacturer of the phone seems to be a well-kept secret (because Mr Google seems determined not to help) but I wouldn't let that worry you particularly. (It will probably come from a factory which produces phones for several 'big name' manufacturers anyway).
The reviews are generally very good but, for someone who is likely to be on a tight budget, I'd be worried about having a phone which is tied to Vodafone (because they're services are far from cheap!)
It might be better to buy a phone which is tied to a far cheaper network (such as Asda Mobile) or to look for a SIM-free model which can then be used on such a network.
