He's been doing it in a few episodes. I assume they are showing he is still very worried about his getting mixed up about the time when giving evidence in Nathan's trial. Maybe he's going to have some sort of phobia and there will be something at the end of the programme saying "if you too are having problems with reading clocks ring this confidential helpline"
