Strictly - Week Nine - Blackpool

Spoilers for anyone not watching live and it is likely that the dance off result will be posted when it is available online, well before the dance off tomorrow. Who else is watching and who do you think will be the celebrity to dance their last dance in Blackpool?

Good evening Eve, I'm watching. Think I'm concerned for Jonnie, Susan and Mollie, what do you think?

[Eve]

I think it might depend on who gets to dance what as a few of them in danger. I'd have said it should be Susan or Jonny but Susan seems to get some high marks! I think Mollie could be in danger as the public vote seems to go against her. I think maybe people maybe voted more last week after Aston going but might revert back a bit a week on and after a fairer dance off and eviction.

I really hope that Gemma is better this week and isn't in danger, I really like her and Aljaz.

Some very strange outfits this week. For me, that didn't work as a Charleston, Mollie looked very awkward in the lifts.

I agree, I didn't think the Judge's comments would be as positive as they were, unless the scores aren't great. It showed a lot of flaws unfortunately, great lifts though and she looks lovely!

Interesting scores, I wouldn't have predicted the 8's. Wonder if Susan will be scored up again. They've been going overboard with the fake tan this week by the looks of it!

It was, I'm so glad! Not great scores though. Susan's was a risky choice as that is such an iconic dance, I LOVE that film! It should be such a wow kind of dance, especially the flamenco bits. It was a good show but difficult comparing it to the original!

Love that film too, can never hear 'Love is in the Air' without thinking about it. Good dance from Gemma.

Me too! Gemma's dance was lovely, so glad, hopefully good scores! Yes!!!!! Great scores! Am slightly behind, needed to get some cosy socks on, so chilly tonight!

Not sure Joe was supposed to drop Katya quite like that at the end...

Alexandra's dance was brilliant, she is just such a natural performer, little overdramatic for me reaction wise though, such great choreography from Gorka too! Joe will have to pull something out to knock her off the top of the leaderboard! Just about to watch his dance now! Doesn't sound promising if he drops her! Oh dear.

She lost her Mum recently which is probably why she is so sensitive

It was a 'controlled' drop! Mollie and Susan for dance off.

I don't think Jonnie looked to comfortable with his dance, could be in the dance off's imo.

Ouch! It did look like he dropped her but nothing was mentioned! She seemed to land with a bit of a bump though!

I do think that Mollie seems to have improved this week.

A bit biased because I like Debbie. Gemma really upped her game. IMHO Susan and Kevin did not do justice to Strictly Ballroom. Impossible to call.

It must be really difficult for her 237SJ. I think she has quite a dramatic (trying to think of the right word as not trying to be horrible about her at all), maybe theatrical, personality generally though I'm guessing it works really well for her in what she does with her success and being in musicals, you can see the benefit in Strictly as she really gets in to and masters the performance side of the dances too, her facial expressions and the way she expresses herself.
