I've just started to watch I'm a celebrity get me out of here ( god knows why) does any agree the so called celebrities are have the same celebrity status as Strictly come dancing.
I'm not expecting A-list hollywood stars can else anybody hear the barrel being scraped!
As reality series go on, the list of available and suitable people to appear reduces.
Anyone who has enough fame and money is not going to lower themselves to this abysmal circus which is frankly the cathode ray tube equivalent of poking lunatics through the bars at Bethlehem Hospital as a Sunday treat.
So you have to widen the net, which simultaneously lowers the calibre of individuals free, willing and able to attend.
In a few years, reality shows will be reduced to populations of other reality shows - a trend which is already starting to happen now.
Hopefully that means that the end is near for this show at least.
Am developing a soft spot for Stanley 'Dad of Boris'. When introduced to Mrs Vardy and not having a clue who she was , and being told her husband played for England , 'oh is he over here doing the Ashes' and her very gently letting him down and telling him that Jamie was a footballer. Priceless.
i do not watch it, although i glanced at it over the years if their was a politician on it, i have noticed the so called celebs are either fading in the public so try to stay relevant, you see this trend on game shows talk shows, fading star gets boob job or facial surgery then denies it, then goes on talk show, again to deny, anything to generate publicity for themselves, shallow game.
andy...cathode ray tube? Are you in the right century?
I have watched this show in the past....I will only watch when there is somebody I particularly like, or somebody I particularly loathe, in it.
This year, of those I even recognise, not one fits the bill....so it's a no-no from me....that's about 30 hours I've gained!
