A Christmas Carol That Goes Wrong....

...what did you think. Compared to last years 'Peter Pan' or 'The Play that Goes Wrong' I thought it was disappointing. Too much emhasise on the behind the scene people appearing on screen, this 'laugh' was well over played. It had it's moments but all in all nothing like as funny as previous shows.

i was really looking forward to this after seeing peter pan but what a let down it was infact it was rubbish .

I didnt see Peter Pan
and so thought this was a side splitter

- obvious slap stick - and if you have heard - SPOILER _
its Ebenezer Scrooge not Ebenezer Huge,
before and think it was dated then you were in for a dull hour

I thouht it was good and then went onto Spiral for a bit of mairder

I agree, and also the original productions were designed to be seen performed live on stage rather than on TV with canned laughter. Disappointing.

I felt it was too predictable, a couple of laugh out loud moments but on the whole, quite dull.

As a TV production rather than recorded live in stage, it was totally different to Peter Pan goes wrong, and a complete flop. whoever thought it wound translate to the screen was quite wrong.

We loved Peter Pan Goes Wrong last year (and in fact have booked up to see The Play That Goes Wrong in the theatre when it appears in our city in April / May 2018).

However we gave up on Christmas Carol Goes wrong after about 15 or so minutes (with the lady with the chair stuck to her backside).

Shame as I was looking forward to it.

I agree. The props people getting on camera was a neat idea a year ago; this time it was just same old. same old.

I liked the bit about lying on a bed of warts.

My brother was in am-dram
and it rang so many bells on so many things....
