Theme music by Georgia White, the American pianist and singer, born 1903. Little information is available about this artist, who worked and recorded with Jimmie Noone at the Apex Club, Chicago, in 1929-30. She is believed to have been working in the city's clubs during the years 1935-41, when she was a star singer in Decca's Race series. In the late 1940s she led an all-female band in the area, and in 1949-50 was the pianist with Big Bill Broonzy's Laughing Trio. She worked in and around Chicago up to 1959, and is then thought to have retired.
