One very moving item on this show. A Dalmatian owner who knew he had to have his dog put to sleep due to illness. He decided to have one last walk with him on the beach where they walked every day with other Dalmatian owners. He messaged the other owners suggesting they joined him.
They all forwarded the messages on to other owners.
When he arrived at the beach there were hundreds and hundreds of other Dalmatian, all come to say goodbye. Never seen anything like it. It had me in tears.
He had to leave later as the vet was coming to his house to put the dog to sleep.

I didn't see the programme, but if a dog is ill enough to be put down the same day, is he well enough to go on a walk which is for his owner's benefit alone?
