Both Emmerdale and Coronation Street are tiresome atm ... the standard of the script is appalling.

Even the sponsors (McCain) take the iss out of the plots and script.

We all know its going to come out that it was Laurel - and what's the betting she is pregnant too as no-one in soaps seems to have heard of contraceptives.

If you’re right about that though, surely both characters can’t stay in the soap. They’d both be at daggers drawn.

I wish someone would get rid of the awful Lachlan, who must be one of the most tiresome, unlikable and punchable characters ever in any 'continuing drama.'
There really are only two main storylines in any soap: pregnancy/whose is it/who knows; and the hospital vigil. Oh, and I might just have mentioned this on here before, but in every episode of every soap, someone overhears something they shouldn't have heard. How did Toyah find out about Eva's pregnancy? She overheard it!
