Film: The Phantom Thread

Anyone else seen it? What did you think?
Have just come back from watching it in a cinema in Brighton and all I could think was, ‘Well, there’s two hours I’ll not get back.
My seat, unfortunately stopped me leaving half way through,- having to walk across the front of the screen, so I stuck it out thinking it would get better. But it just went on in the same dull, humourless vein.
I love Daniel Day Lewis, and Lesley Manville. Shame about the film.

Oh well, you win some and you lose some. We watched The Talented Mr. Ripley again last night on BBC. Great film , thoroughly enjoyed even the second time round.
