Did anyone watch this 'comedy' last night? Not funny in the slightest and I can't believe my licence fee has been spent on this rubbish!

I'm not sure they do it for that reason, more likely just honest and think differently to others.
I have spent my life having folk look at me oddly when I say I don't like some of the best selling pop stars or the longest running films and programmes.
Like you say, we all have different tastes and expectations.

Well, I watched an interview with Alison and John and saw a few clips before the programme aired so I wasn't surprised that it lived up (down?) to it's description as 'gentle'.
I suppose it's to be expected in a 7.30 time slot.
A filler programme is how I'd describe it.
Out of 10 - 5, could do better.
