Hi Cap, just wondering whether you caught Nils Lofgren on Radio 2 safnoon. Johnny Walker show. Talking about his time in Crazy Horse and with the E Street Band. Well worth a listen on the I Player. Anyone else who is a fan of quality is encouraged to listen to it. Nice Guy and very talented. I will have a listen in again anyway.

I'll definitely listen to that later Togo, I love Nils.
Just downloaded a classical album, I'm chilling with that and a cider after doing the lawn.
Togo, I missed it today. I normally listen to JW every Sunday afternoon. Will catch up with it later. Thank you.

Nice one Eleena. XX We may have to stop meeting like this (^_*) Thoroughly enjoyed it myself, whilst the same as you, getting the garden under my thumb. Having to water like mad here. Scorchio.
I am huge fan of Nils - saw him in the '70's and his support act was listed on the tickets as 'Plus Support' - it was Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers on the tour than went on to break them worldwide.

I had just bought the first TP album on Shelter Records that week, and there he was almost (but not quite!) blowing Nils off the stage.

Hi Tills. XX I was just in time to catch the "interview" opening after waiting for it since midweek. Not disappointed. Proper nice guy. Despite his obvious talents he is very modest. In the UK at the moment as well.

That gig gets a mention A.H. You must listen in 1978/9 it was.
Loads more to do, few days off next week hopefully get the chance then. Just looked on iPlayer under music for Nils, whereabouts is it Togo?

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers opened for him. Soo glad I did not miss it. "She who must be obeyed" was pecking my head...…..so I cranked Southern Man(one of his choices) up...…..and I couldn't hear her.

Johnny Walker Sounds of the 70s Eleena. May not be on the player yet, there is always a delay before it is loaded.
Ah o.k.

I found it Togo thanks. What a nice man, tours round in a bus with his wife. 50 years on the road!
Hi Togo, sorry for late reply - unfortunately I was at work till 5.30. Thanks for posting though. Will indeed listen later/tomorrow.

Shot Capito. I waited patiently in "crosswords" to catch you. Wondered why no show. Good interview. Worth the while of an aficionado's time.
