Hi all, My boyfriend tells me that Mr Crystal Maze, Richard O'Brian in dead! Say it isnt true?!

He isn't dead. Neither imdb.com nor allmovie.com have him as dead. He is 63 though, which was a bit of a shock. I would have had him at 50, 55 max.

Yeah, he was in the original CCBB cast at the Palladium - which I saw! A very scary childcatcher with a great song and an even better fake nose. But his Riff Raff in RHPS (which he also totally created) is his acme.

Indeed he did. Amazing to think he was in his fifties when he did The Crystal Maze, isn't it?

I think you've aged him a bit jenstar. I was in one of the CM episodes on the last series he did. That was Nov '92 so he would have been 50 then, so he must have started doing it when he was about 46. He is a really nice bloke and had loads of stories to occupy the team whilst they were setting up for shots etc. It took 2 days to film each CM. I always thought he looked painfully thin though.

i think that richard is the most georgous man to walk the face of the earth he is so sexy . Also dont get me started on those tight pants he wore in the c/m . I am a massive fan of all of his work love queen crazy x
