Simon Cowell makes it clear to the viewers which acts he wants to go through to the final - ie. the ones he knows he can make money out of afterwards as they remain under contract to him. The D-Day Darlings are a great idea, but I don't think show much talent - they simply choose old apt songs and do a reasonable job of performing them. I'd rather they did a lively version of The Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, or something like that. Mallyj, what was the act your friend did on BGT?
