I saw him in Pantomime in London way back in 1966 or 67.
I don't think that I've ever really forgiven him for inflicting 'Little White Bull' upon the world ;-)
He was in his element tonight, really enjoyed the show.
Really sorry I missed him. He was my teenage heartthrob.
Clever song...
Oh I wish I had seen it. Ive always been a massive fan of Tommy Steele.

FAO Georgie - this is Tommy at the rehearsals earlier on that day.

Fast Forward to about 6.44.

Question Author
no FF 5.44 - hope you enjoy him Georgie
his one man show is marvellous, have seen it twice
Question Author
I can't believe his energy and stamina. God has been good to him LOL - he is to be admired
Solely for the benefit of Chico:

When I was young I bought my first three albums, and one was his. Always seemed a decent guy and good entertainer, not that I ever saw him live.
I first saw him in the London Palladium in about 1963/64 in Half a Sixpence, which I remember being really great, I last saw him about 2 years ago at the Mayflower in Southampton, in the Glen Miller story, again it was a great show, certainly Father Time has been good to him.
I didn't know he is still alive!
Well he is Zebo, but Peter Stringfellow isn't.
I too was under the impression he was dead - sorry Tommy ! I saw him live at the Liverpool Empire some years ago as Fagan in the musical Oliver and he was great.
His anecdotes on The One Show went on and on and on. Fellow guest Caroline Quentin looked annoyed that he stole most of the air time
Question Author
I noticed that too Thessy - Caroline, Anne and Tommy all wanted to talk but Tommy succeeded.

Had glaziers in today replacing windows in living room and inadvertently put on Loose Women and Denise Welch never shut her mouth about her being an alcoholic and Lincoln (her husband) . Oh God Denise give it a rest.
Loose Women specialise in the self-obsessed
Question Author
I try and avoid it like the plague. Loose Women. I did really like Janet Street Porter who had strong views but have thought recently she has melted into their ways and has become a bit of a bore too.
