4 people went on a drastic diet to see if they could control their diabetes.

It was very hard for them but they succeeded in lowering all the bad things in their body.

They were on like drinks - anybody know what they would have been.

The shakes have probably been developed specifically for this "experiment" which is medically supervised.
I reversed my Type 2 with exercise and diet. I no longer need medication for it as long as i watch what i eat.
That's brilliant Ken, well done x I have type one unfortunately which is not curable, but it shows type 2's can really reverse it.
I'm type 2, have been for ages. My blood sugars are usually in the region of 8 to 12.

However, due to a hiatus hernia and also a thickened oeseophagus, I've not eaten solid food for a month, or any food for the last five days. Getting it medically sorted has been a joke, and as a consequence, I have lost nearly three stone.

My blood sugars now are acceptable for non diabetics. Whether it will last once I can eat again, I don't know, but I certainly don't intend putting it back if I can help it.
I'm not Diabetic.

I am however doing the Dr Moseley 800 cal per day, Blood Sugar Diet which ha sbeen proven to reverse the effects of Diabetes.

I don't know how true this is, but I've lost a stone since 2nd April, and I'm managing it just fine - I've never felt better if I'm honest! Just very low / no carbs and lot and lots of water, berries, nuts, eggs, lean meats and above ground vegetables (no root veg).
I think it was ( it sounds like ) the Allen Regime

no carbs no acidosis - but the starvation diet was like one grapefruit a day ....
a treatment before Banting and Best
in fact I think the only treatment of a previously lethal disease
Definitely the Exante diet JJ. This comes from their site:

// If you didn’t catch ITV’s 2-part documentary, ‘The Fast Fix’, here’s a brief overview. It involved a study around diabetes & Exante Meal Replacement products and it really will change the way you think about what you eat. As well as addressing all the problems that come with type 2 diabetes, it goes into detail about how all the damaging effects that diabetes has on people may not as permanent as people once thought. \\
