Six Feet Under - Final episode
Was the end sequence on the last episode of Six Feet Under utterly demeaning and out of context with the series?

It was poignant, sad (especially at Ruth's death), unnecessarily tragic (how could they kill Keith and leave David all alone, it's just not fair!) and ironic (Claire being blind, having spent her life as a photographer).
It was a both heart-wrenching and heart-warming representation of the cycle of life. But it went by so quickly, I found it hard to recognise them. Thankfully I taped it, so I can watch it again and really take it all in.
And what was Claire doing marrying Ted? Shudder!
