Long Lost Family

Please can anyone tell me what happened at the very end of this programme? Did the families keep in touch etc? I recorded the programme, but it cut off in the last minute or so. Many thanks

I thought in both cases there was a back story we werent told
Pearse's mother never appeared. and I thought the mother had worked hard to alienate P from his father .....
and I wondered if the Dad was in fact a divorce with children .....

and they had Encarnacion's NiNo which was unique
so it couldnt have been difficult to track HER down ....

and yeah Pearse had a half-brother so there was another family
( who looked just like him)
