I hated that ..lol..on a Sunday afternoon..nah...preferred the Swiss Family Robinson
My best mate was (and still is) horse mad and we used to have to watch this every week.....


What a dreadful soundtrack.
Loved it. I don't remember Sunday afternoon but do remember it was on in the mornings of the school summer holidays.
Which, Baldric? Robinsoe Crusoe was great. I haven't playe dit but I think it was Lighting tree- if so, I liked that too, but not as much as Robinson Crusoe theme

I remember as a 9 or 10 year old being transfixed by the TV series The Silver Sword. Set in Poland during WW2 with Fraser Hines playing the boy Jan. It was about children trying to escape a devastated and bombed Poland to Switzerland. They had a little wooden box that contained the Silver Sword which sort of held them together. Don't think that I have ever been so riveted to a TV series or Film since.
I don't know if this will work.

Awful I know, but I can remember my mother and grandmother coming into the house on a Saturday morning to announce that my grandfather had passed away; as a 6 year old though I had to finish watching the latest episode of Ivanhoe before it sunk in. (Didn't know till now that Roger Moore was the hero).
